Huf-house in Mannheim

A very nice visit on August 5th this year! Eating gluten-free is not a problem here (once you have understood the waiter's humor). The cook even came to the table on request so that you could chat directly. The starter was prawns - very good The main course is fish with potatoes and spinach - also very good! For my counterpart there was spaetzle with beef steak and chanterelles - also praise The dessert was a homemade mandarin sorbet! Very fine! The sanitary facility is quite small and could use a few renovations. All in all, highly recommended and a repeat of the visit is definitely planned!

Great service and delicious food

We were in a small group to eat. The selection of dishes is sensational, especially the seafood salad was very good. The service is very attentive and unobtrusive, the guest feels very comfortable here. The HUF-HOUSE is a great address in Mannheim and highly recommended. We will be back definitely.

We wanted to have a coffee there on a cold morning. The waiter asked if we would have something to eat and when we said no, he just wanted to give us a seat in a dark corner at the bar, on the grounds that there would still be guests (I wondered what we would be then) if not guests?) By the way, the whole restaurant was empty. I have never seen such insolence.

Absolutely excited. Great ambience, nice service and really great food. There is also a very good selection of wines. We chose the evening menu. Everything was first class both in terms of taste and appearance. We felt very comfortable here and will be back. I can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience and without hesitation. 1+

Pleasant atmosphere. Good, very friendly service. Very small menu. Rather expensive, according to the rider clientele. In terms of quality and taste, the dishes are reasonable for the price. Wines a little more expensive but also very good and therefore reasonable for the price.

Very nice restaurant with German cuisine. Lovers of Palatinate specialties also get their money's worth here. Taste and quality are very good. The service is very friendly, attentive and accommodating. The restaurant is highly recommended. Gladly again.

I haven't been so fascinated by an inn in a long time. The decoration on the squares and in the whole restaurant is appropriate and tasteful. The toilet is always clean and all in all the place gives a good impression. It totally blew us away. Great value for money. Super great and polite service. I think that all the local staff did a harmonious job there.

After a year we were with our group of 8 the second time, but also last time here. The price / performance ratio is just not right. The evening menu is very clear and fish-laden with 5 main courses. The prices are quite generous, in contrast to the portions. At the starter "ceps ravioli, small portion" 5 pieces are a joke at the price. In many a good restaurant, the greeting from the kitchen is bigger. The rack of lamb (half lamb salmon) was not pink but through. The bouillabaisse a vegetable broth with fish insert, which was a few minutes before still in the refrigerator. And salmon usually has not lost anything in this French fish soup. The culmination, however, were the veal sirloin steaks for € 33.50. That was a maximum of 120 gr. Meat per person. After our complaint each a small strip was refilled. Only the ambience provides here still for a star. Even if the toilet was already very busy at 9 pm. All in all a pity for the money.

As a football fan you are unfortunately not welcome. There were five other guests and we with six people. Supposedly we disturbed and were then asked that please no one else should come.

Brilliant food for Mother's Day yesterday and a service that is second to none: skates and cod on asparagus and the finest schnitzel for children!

Great restaurant, I wonder what's in their special sausage!
